The Mobile Ticketing Machine (MTM-1000) is a very unique machine that comprises of 3.5″ color LCD display, fully illuminated 29 keypad with optional fingerprint reader module and smart card insertion slot. It has a built in WiFi to enable wireless data transmission and a built in printer for issuing receipts or tickets.
MTM-1000 is versatile to connect to its outside world. It has a RS232 and RS485 communication channels, dry-contact relay connectivity, USB connectors and 12V output power source. With these features, MTM-1000 can be used in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems or Point of Sale (POS) applications. The serial communication is accustomed to be connected with a RFID reader/writer. Whereas, the dry contact relay is accustomed to be connected to cash vault or cash register. The built-in printer is used to print coupons or receipts as a proof of purchase. The 12V output power supply and extra serial communication are for expansion purposes.
To store or backup transactions, WiFi connectivity to the server or remotely backup via USB thumbdrive can be utilized. MTM-1000 has an optional security features whereby fingerprint reader module and smart card reader can prevent unauthorized users from fiddling the unit. It has also one built in SAM to enhance security. All 29 keypad wordings can be customized as membrane concept is used over the front panel. The graphical user interface over the LCD and the 29 keypad functions can be easily programmed as the MTM-1000 is running on an open based Windows CE 5.0 platform. New application can be updated over the MTM-1000 via USB
connectivity.
