Magnetic Stripe Card Reader Technology:
The Grabba Magnetic Stripe Card Reader uses a MagTek read head combined with ASIC decoder offering superior data recovery from all types of magnetic cards, including old or badly damaged cards. Grabba Magnetic Stripe Card Readers open opportunities for developers in financial and non-financial applications utilising magnetic stripe technology, capable of reading one, two and three track cards.
ISO standard track format cards can be read with both the Grabba Keyboard Wedge and SDKs, while proprietary encoded track format cards can be read with the Grabba SDKs.
Contact Smartcard Reader Technology:
The Grabba Contact Smartcard reader uses a high quality GemAlto smartcard interface, compatible with synchronous memory cards and asynchronous microcontroller cards supporting both read and write applications.
Grabba Contact Smartcard devices open opportunities for developers of health, security, identity, permission based applications and more, through free Grabba SDKs. A Grabba PC/SC compliant IFD handler is also available for Windows Mobile, allowing developers to leverage existing PC/SC applications to easily integrate with Grabba Contact Smartcard devices.
