Rugged by design, Grabba HID eProx Readers have been tested to withstand multiple 2 Metre (6.5ft) drops to concrete without adverse effect The Grabba housing has been designed so as to also provide some protection to the PDA/SmartPhone with which it interfaces. Fitted with its own rechargable long-life battery the Grabba is suitable for heavy workloads without adverse impact upon the battery life of the PDA.

HID eProx RFID Reader Technology:
The Grabba HID eProx (embedded proximity) RFID Reader is capable of reading all HID Proximity credentials including cards, tags and fobs. The Grabba eProx readers have use in wireless and remote security systems, asset management systems and many other mobile identification systems. Use a Grabba eProx reader to introduce mobility solutions to your organisation leveraging existing HID eProx credentials, or create new systems combining trusted fixed HID products with mobile Grabba readers.

Grabba HID eProx readers are capable of reading the facility code and card ID for HID 26-bit standard card format using the Grabba keyboard wedge, as well as proprietary card formats using Grabba SDKs.
